NC committed to restoring IIOJK’s special status, statehood: Surinder Choudhary
Srinagar: Senior National Conference leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, has reiterated his party’s commitment to restoring the territory’s special status and statehood.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Choudhary while speaking to media in Srinagar said that the party is resolutely working toward securing these rights for the people of IIOJK and seek the public’s support in this crucial journey.
Choudhary emphasized the mandate given to the National Conference by the people of IIOJK. “We are working diligently to prove ourselves worthy of the trust placed in us by the people, and we will continue to fight for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood and special status,” he said.
Meanwhile, IIOJK Congress chapter president Tariq Hameed Karra has said that India is under the attack of the RSS-BJP regime. Addressing a gathering of ex-corporators in Jammu, Karra warned against communal forces that threaten India’s pluralism.
Karra reiterated the party’s commitment to counter the BJP-RSS’s divisive propaganda and reaffirmed the Congress’s dedication to restoring occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.
