TWI pays tributes to party leader Nisar Rathar on his death anniversary
Srinagar:Srinagar: Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI) in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has paid glowing tributes to Nisar Hussain Rathar, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and patron-in-chief of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami on his first death anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a prayer meeting was organized at his residence in the Bemina area of Srinagar in which besides the family and other people, leaders of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami and a large number of workers participated.
Addressing the meeting, the speakers said that Nisar Hussain Rathar was a selfless, sincere and honest leader and was very active all his life for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from the illegal Indian rule.
They said that the deceased remained committed to the Kashmir freedom movement till his last breath despite the Indian atrocities.
The speakers said that Nisar Hussain Rathar had started raising his voice against the occupation of India since his student days, for which he had to go through the hardships of imprisonment, but he never lost courage. They said that the services of the deceased for Kashmir freedom will always be remembered.
At the end of the meeting, prayers were offered for the elevation of the deceased and for the early freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from Indian rule.
Suffering from diabetes, Nisar Hussain Rathar had passed away on August 22, 2023 in Srinagar.
