APHC-AJK holds prayer reference in Islamabad
Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC) chapter organised a condolence reference in Islamabad today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, chaired by APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, the participants of the reference condoled the death of Muhammad Iqbal Rather, father-in-law of illegally detained senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah, who passed away in a hospital in Srinagar, occupied Jammu and Kashmir, yesterday.
The participants of the meeting expressed their profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the father-in-law of Shabbir Ahmad Shah and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
They lamented that India had once again proved that it was not a democratic country as it did not allow Shabbir Shah to attend the last funerals of his father-in-law.
They said that India has once again proved that it is not a democratic country by not allowing Shabir Shah to attend the last rites of his father Nisibi. Tributes were also paid.
The participants of the meeting prayed for those who died in the bus accident from Rawalpindi to Azad Patan, Azad Kashmir.
On the occasion, they also paid tributes to the innocent people who were targeted in Balochistan.
Hurriyat leaders Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Ijaz Rehmani, Zahid Ashraf, Zahid Mujtaba, Gulshan Ahmed, Abdul Majeed Mir, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, Imtiaz Wani, Altaf Hussain Wani, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Abdul Hameed Lone and Qazi Imran participated in the condolence reference.
