Two dead bodies recovered in IIOJK
Jammu: Two dead bodies were recovered in separate incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of an elderly woman, Fatima Bi, who had been missing since August 31, was recovered from a river in the Dingla area of Poonch district. Her family had filed a missing person’s report at the Poonch Police Station and had been searching for her since her disappearance. After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for last rites.
In a separate incident, the body of 23-year-old Mohammad Yasir was recovered from a local river in the Manjakote area of Rajouri district after a four-day search. He had drowned in the river on August 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, a cloudburst in the upper reaches of Banihal triggered flash floods, resulting in the death of a helper working with L&T machine, who was washed away in a rivulet in the Banihal area of Ramban district.
