Indian CRPF head constable commits suicide in Chhattisgarh
Sukma: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable has committed suicide in Chhattisgarh’ state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a 44-year-old Vipul Bhuyan, head constable of 226th battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon inside the bathroom in its camp Gadiras area of Sukma district on Saturday, police said.
This is the fifth incident of suicide by paramilitary personnel in the last three months in Chhattisgarh state where Indian army and paramilitary forces personnel are deployed for operations against Naxalites and Moists who are demanding an independent state from Indian hegemony.
