BJP regime suspends five more employees in IIOJK

Srinagar: The BJP-led Indian government has suspended five more employees in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, these suspensions were issued due to the employees’ alleged failure to report for election duty in Reasi district. The voting for the first phase of so-called assembly elections in IIOJK took place on September 17.

The District Election Officer, Vishesh Mahajan, issued the suspension orders, while Kulbhushan Khajuria, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Reasi, will conduct further investigations and submit a report within ten days.

The suspended employees — Muhammad Ashraf, Gian Chand, Gulam Ahmed, Muhammad Nazir, and Muhammad Iqbal — are all teachers.

It is worth noting that the BJP regime has suspended numerous employees in IIOJK under various pretexts since August 2019, with concerns that the aim is to replace these positions with individuals aligned with Hindutva agendas.
