23 govt employees suspended as Modi regime intensifies crackdown in IIOJK

Jammu: In a brazen display of authoritarianism, the Modi-led Indian government has escalated its crackdown on Kashmiris, suspending more government employees on flimsy grounds.

According to Kashmir Media Service, twenty-three government employees were suspended, and six contractual workers were disengaged in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Twenty employees were transferred to remote areas, potentially setting them up for termination on the pretext of being unable to attend duty or not being regular. This move is seen as an attempt to silence Kashmiri voices and undermine their democratic rights.

Critics argue that these actions are part of a broader agenda to suppress Kashmiris, who have been denied their inalienable right to self-determination, and are living in an environment of fear in IIOJK.
