APHC-AJK celebrates 77th Founding Day of AJK

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) celebrated today the 77th Founding Day of Azad Jammu and Kashmir with a renewed pledge to continue the struggle till the liberation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and accession of the whole territory to Pakistan.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the day is celebrated every year to renew the pledge to continue the struggle till liberation of occupied Kashmir from Indian clutches and accession of the whole Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan.

The speakers at a special meeting in Islamabad congratulated the government and people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on the 77th Foundation Day. They said that the people of Kashmir with their undying struggle for freedom had laid the foundation of AJK 77 years ago.

They also expressed serious concern over the demographic change of IIOJK by issuing domiciles to non-resident members and other acts, which are violations of the international law and UN resolutions. They added that such illegal and brutal occupation actions cannot force Kashmiris to let down their freedom of struggle.

The speakers said peace in the region is linked with the Kashmir resolution in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

They also paid tributes to Jammu martyrs and offered special prayers for the integrity and prosperity of Pakistan and the early liberation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The speakers included Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Mir Tahir Masood and Madiha Khan while Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Javed Ahmed Butt, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Shamimm Shawl, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Dawood Khan, Zahid Safi, Hasan al-Banna, Chaudhry Shaheen, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, Syed Gulshan, Imtiaz Wani, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Adeel Mushtaq, Manzoor Ahmed Dar; Mian Muzaffar, Abdul Majeed Lone and Rais Ahmed Mir attended the meeting.
