Male body found in Srinagar
Srinagar: The body of a man was found near the riverbanks in the Nowgam area of Srinagar district in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday.
According to Kashmir media Service, the deceased identified as Mudasir Ashraf Dar, S/O Mohammad Ashraf Dar is a resident of Namblabal, Pampore of Pulwama district.
The body was spotted by passersby, who immediately informed the police. A police team rushed to the scene and took the body into their custody for further examination.
Investigations have been initiated to determine the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, a decomposed body was also found in Khadoni area of Kulgam district, today (Sunday).
Some passers-by saw the body floating in the drain and informed the police.
A police team reached the spot and shifted the body to the nearest health centre for medical and legal proceedings.
Police said the body has been kept in the morgue till identification.
