Famous Naat reciter & religious scholar Ghulam Nabi Mir passes away in IIOJK
Srinagar: Renowned Naat reciter, writer and influential religious leader Ghulam Nabi Mir, popularly known as Abu Tariq, has passed away in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, a resident of Dooru Shahabad in Islamabad district, Ghulam Nabi Mir was widely revered for his significant contributions to Islamic scholarship, education, and community service. He served as the former Ameer of Jamia Masjid Dooru, a position that reflected his deep commitment to spiritual guidance and the welfare of the local community.
As the General Secretary of Hamayat-e-Islam, Mir played an instrumental role in promoting Islamic teachings and advancing the cause of education and social upliftment.
