Mysterious illness claims 15 lives in Rajouri amid growing authorities’ apathy
Jammu: A mysterious illness continues to claim lives in Badhaal village of Rajouri, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, with the death toll rising to 15 as another little girl, Zabina Kousar, succumbed in the district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the tragedy has brought to light glaring apathy on the part of the occupation authorities, whose lame-duck response has contributed to the escalation of this health crisis.
The deceased, including 12 children, belong to three families residing within a 1.5-kilometer radius. The cause of the illness remains unidentified.
Locals complained of lack of support and transparency on the part of the authoriteis.
