Jammu: The body of a missing person was recovered in the Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of Mohammad Ishaq, son of Ghulam Hussain, a resident of Gandow in Doda, was found near the Kalamal village, under suspicious circumstances.
Officials stated that the individual had been reported missing, with a formal complaint filed. Following the recovery of the body, authorities have initiated inquest proceedings.
They added that the deceased’s body has been transported to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. Further investigation into the case is underway.
It is pertinent to mention that India has established a militia under the name of Village Defence Guards (VDG) in the Jammu region. This militia has been formed with the malicious intent of spreading fear and terror among the Muslims of Jammu. The members of the VDG are regularly trained by the Indian army and are involved in crimes and the killing of innocent people in the territory.
Meanwhile, four people sustained injuries when an auto traveling from Koti to Doda skidded off the road and rolled down approximately 50 feet near Koti Nalla in the Doda district of IIOJK. The injured individuals were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
