One dead, ten injured in Ramban road accidents

Jammu: One person died and ten others were injured in two separate road accidents in the Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred when a truck skidded off the road near Battery Chashma on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway and fell into a 700-foot deep gorge killing one person and three persons were injured. The deceased has been identified as Yawer Ali.

Locals rushed to the scene to assist and transported the injured to the hospital. The condition of the injured is reported to be critical.

Meanwhile, in a separate accident, at least seven passengers were injured when two Tavera passenger vehicles collided. Officials said that all the injured passengers were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.

Accidents on the Jammu-Srinagar highway are unfortunately common, with the road’s poor condition making it prone to frequent incidents. Despite claims of development in IIOJK, the Indian regime has failed to improve the infrastructure, resulting in the daily loss of lives due to the dangerous state of the roads.
