Highlighting Kashmir issue need of the hour: Rana Sikandar Hayat
Lahore: The Provincial Minister for Education Punjab, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has said that highlighting the Kashmir issue at every forum, especially in schools, is the need of the hour.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Sikandar Hayat made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Kashmir Centre Lahore. He mentioned that, on the special directives of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, every school across Punjab observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with zeal and fervor.
The Education Minister stated that, based on the clear instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the new generation is being made aware of the Kashmir issue through activities related to Kashmir in educational institutions. He added that Pakistan would continue its diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris.
During the meeting, the In-charge of Kashmir Centre Lahore, Inam Kashmiri, thanked the Punjab government and the education department for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day across the province. He emphasized that the observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day across Pakistan has boosted the morale of the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
