Will consider Plan B and Plan C If J&K’s statehood not restored : Tanveer Sadiq

Srinagar: National Conference leader and spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq has said that if Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood is not restored, they will consider Plan B and Plan C.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Tanvir Sadiq, speaking to reporters in Srinagar, was hopeful about the restoration of statehood to Jammu Kashmir very soon.

He expressed optimism that the Indian government would address the issue in the next few months.

He said the dual power structure in Jammu and Kashmir is causing administrative challenges and that honouring the significant mandate given by the people in the Assembly elections is crucial.

He said whatever situation is currently in Jammu and Kashmir is because of PDP and ‘it shouldn’t teach us what to do as we know what we have to do.’ “We will try to address every issue that was promised by NC in their manifesto,” he added.

He questioned there is BJP government in J&K for the last 10 years and why it failed to bring bills like a ban on alcohol?

He said the PDP and BJP are one and they are just trying not to allow functioning of the assembly properly.
