Pakistani diaspora, local journalists attend Kashmir event in Dhaka

Dhaka: The Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh organized an event to on Kashmir in Dhaka, reaffirming support for the just struggle of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was attended by members of the Pakistani diaspora, civil society representatives, and local journalists.
In his speech, High Commissioner Syed Ahmed Maroof echoed the stance of the Pakistani leadership and reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmir cause. He emphasized that Pakistan will continue to advocate for the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir at all international forums.
The High Commission also organized a photo exhibition highlighting Indian atrocities in IIOJK. Participants toured the exhibition and expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Messages from the leadership of Pakistan, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, were also read out during the event.
