Sikh community stages protest against Indian FM Jaishankar in London
London: The Sikh community members mostly supporters of the pro-Khalistan movement organised a protest in London against Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, who is currently on an official visit to the UK and Ireland.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Sikh community members who are demanding a separate state of Khalistan staged the protest when the S Jaishankar was leaving in a car after attending an event at the Chatham House think tank in London.
They shouted pro-Khalistan and anti-BJP slogans.
Jaishankar is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4 to 9, aiming to repair India’s diplomatic ties with both nations after its global image suffered a setback following revelations of its alleged involvement in attacks on Sikh leaders in Canada and the US.
