Indian regime attaches properties of two more Kashmiris in IIOJK
Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian regime has attached properties of two more Kashmiris in Sopore district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,
According to Kashmir Media, Indian police have attached four kanals and nine marlas of orchard land, valued at Rs 21,13,750, belonging to Irshad Ahmad Reshi, resident of Yamberzalwari, and two kanals and five marlas of orchard land, worth Rs 17,77,500, belonging to Bashir Ahmad Mir, resident of Harwan Bomai.
The Indian BJP government has confiscated hundreds of properties belonging to Kashmiris, citing various pretexts, after the illegal revocation of IIOJK’s special status in August 2019,
The ongoing campaign is widely seen as an attempt to economically destabilize Kashmiris and alter the region’s demographic composition by settling non-Kashmiris in their land.
