Islamabad: Pakistan’s proactive peace diplomacy and the strategic leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have emerged as a major force behind growing international efforts to prevent a wider war in the Middle East, as signs of possible diplomatic progress on the Iran issue continue to surface.
According to Kashmir Media Service, international diplomatic momentum gained further attention after Marco Rubio indicated that a breakthrough on an Iran deal could come within days, raising hopes for de-escalation in a region standing dangerously close to a major conflict.
Speaking to the media, Rubio said there was “a chance” that progress on the deal could emerge “later today, tomorrow, or in a couple days,” while expressing hope for “good news” amid ongoing diplomatic engagement.
Political and diplomatic observers say Pakistan played an important, responsible and constructive role in encouraging dialogue and reducing tensions at a critical stage of the crisis. Analysts noted that while several global powers warned of a devastating regional war, Pakistan consistently advocated diplomacy, restraint and peaceful engagement.
Observers particularly highlighted the extraordinary diplomatic efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stating that his timely engagement and continuous behind-the-scenes coordination helped create diplomatic space for negotiations when the region was facing the risk of massive escalation and destruction.
They said Pakistan demonstrated strategic maturity and international credibility by choosing dialogue over confrontation and peace over conflict. “Pakistan did not add fuel to the fire; it opened a path toward dialogue,” analysts remarked.
Experts further said the evolving diplomatic breakthrough has reinforced Pakistan’s growing relevance in regional and international affairs, proving that Islamabad is not a silent bystander but a responsible and decisive stakeholder for peace and stability.
They maintained that countries and circles which once questioned Pakistan’s diplomatic relevance are now being forced to acknowledge Islamabad’s constructive role in promoting de-escalation and preventing a broader conflict.
Analysts added that Pakistan’s message to the world remains clear and consistent: diplomacy over destruction, dialogue over devastation, and peace over escalation.
