Indian army Major commits suicide in IIOJK
Jammu: An Indian army Major committed suicide in Akhnoor area of Jammu district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased Indian army Major has been identified as Mubarak Singh Padda from Jalandhar, Punjab.
According to his family sources, Padda shot himself after locking himself in the room at Akhnoor where he was currently posted. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at Udhampur Command Hospital, the sources added.
This incident raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in IIOJK to 601 since January 2007.
