Sikh community holds anti-India protest in Paris

Paris: The Sikh community in Paris held an anti-India protest demonstration which was also participated by the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum, France.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters on the occasion highlighted the Indian atrocities on minorities in India and in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

They said that the Sikh community would continue to expose the ugly face of India to the world. “We will continue to stand side by side with the Sardar community,” they said, adding the Golden Temple is the holiest place of Sikhs.

The protesters said thousands of Sikhs were extra judicially killed in the military operation launched on June 2, 1984 at the holiest place of worship of the Sikhs in Amritsar but neither an inquiry nor justice was provided to the victims’ families.
