Indian police arrest US citizen at Srinagar airport
Srinagar: Indian police arrested a US citizen in Srinagar city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police during a search operation arrested the US citizen for carrying a satellite phone at the Srinagar International Airport.
Speaking to media men, police officer SHO Humhama, Muhammad Adil Dar said that a citizen from the United States was held with a satellite phone. He said that the citizen has been taken into custody, and soon a case would be registered.
He said that apparently the person didn’t know the rules-that carrying a satellite phone is prohibited in occupied Kashmir.
