Senior Indian Army officer raises concerns over women in key command roles
New Delhi: A senior Indian army officer, Lieutenant General Rajeev Puri, has expressed concerns about women officers serving in key command roles, particularly in the eastern sector.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a five-page letter, General Puri highlighted issues with women officers in command positions, sparking a debate about gender equality in the military.
General Puri’s letter suggests that Indian Army is facing significant challenges because of women being in key command positions.
