Muslim student abducted, assaulted, forced to Chant Hindutva slogans in UP
Meerut: Gulfam Saifi, an IIT student and aspiring national-level shooter, was allegedly abducted and brutally assaulted in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in what his family describes as a targeted attack.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred on Saturday evening when Gulfam was returning home from his shooting practice.
A group of 3-4 men, according to Gulfam’s family, abducted him and took him to an abandoned swimming pool at Victoria Park. There, they forced him to chant “Jai Shri Ram” while subjecting him to a violent beating. The attackers reportedly stripped Gulfam and left him unconscious after the assault.
Gulfam is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at a private hospital. His family has expressed deep concerns, calling the attack a deliberate act of violence against their son.
