Indian army man dies during search operation in Srinagar
Srinagar: An Indian army man died during an ongoing search operation in the Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the search operation was taking place in the forested area of Harwan, on the outskirts of Srinagar city. As the forces’ personnel were conducting searches in the Faqeer Gujree and Dara regions of Harwan this morning, the soldier, identified as Jasvinder Singh of the 34 Assam Rifles, succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest, according to Indian officials.
The search operations have been intensifying in the Harwan area, particularly in the Dachigam forest, since Tuesday, when Indian occupation forces martyred a youth in a staged encounter. These operations are still ongoing in the vast Dachigam forest area.
