Mushaal Malik concerned over International community’s silence on Kashmir dispute

Islamabad: Mushaal Hussain Malik, wife of incarcerated Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik and Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, has expressed grave concern over the international community’s silence regarding the brutalities committed by Indian occupying forces against unarmed Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushaal Malik made these remarks while addressing a photo exhibition on human rights organized by the Human Rights Council of Pakistan at Pak-China Friendship Center, Islamabad.

Mushaal Malik stated that IIOJK has turned into a graveyard for children due to the atrocities carried out by Indian forces. She emphasized that the international community has remained silent over the severe human rights violations in the occupied territory. India continues to perpetrate heinous crimes in Kashmir, she said.

She further remarked that India intends to execute Kashmiri freedom leader Mohammad Yasin Malik through false charges, and that he is currently held in a death cell. Expressing her concern, she pointed out that internet services in occupied Kashmir have been suspended, and India is preventing international observers and fact-finding missions from visiting the region.

Mushaal Malik strongly condemned the human rights violations committed by Indian forces in the occupied valley, lamenting the lack of coverage of the genocide of Kashmiris in the international media.

She also condemned the brutal actions of Israeli forces against children in Gaza, calling for an end to the atrocities in both occupied territories, which she described as graveyards for children. She noted that Israel has crossed all limits of cruelty in Gaza, urging the international community to halt the genocide in Palestinians.
