World urged to designate India as terrorist state for denying Kashmiris’ right to self-determination

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations, to resolve the Kashmir dispute and put an end to the gross human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC organizations and leaders in their statements issued in Srinagar said that India, under its Hindutva-inspired regime led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in the occupied territory, is not only involved in terrorist actions but has also stripped the people of Kashmir of their political, economic, religious and social rights.

The statements urged the United Nations, European Union and the international community to hold India accountable for its war crimes in the territory. They reiterated the demand for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, asserting that the ongoing freedom struggle in IIOJK cannot be suppressed through arrests and harassment.

The APHC further called on the global community to designate India as a terrorist state for denying the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination and subjecting them to relentless state terrorism.

The statements also appealed to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir to continue resisting India’s brutalities with courage and urged them to organize peaceful protests and demonstrations in their areas to demand their rights.
