Indian paramilitary vehicle hits, martyrs youth in Srinagar
Srinagar: A vehicle of the Indian paramilitary forces deliberately hit and martyred a Kashmiri youth in Srinagar city of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the victim, identified as Asif Ahmad Rather, was riding his scooty when he was struck by an Indian paramilitary truck on Boulevard Road, near Ghat No. 17, in the Nehru Park area of Srinagar.
He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for treatment where doctors declared him dead.
In separate incidents, a 50-year-old local resident, Ghulam Hassan Teli, and a non-Kashmiri Indian, Shakeel (40), died in Srinagar and on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in the Udhampur area.
Meanwhile, the body of a young labourer, who had gone missing a week ago, was recovered from Wular Lake in Bandipora on Friday morning.
Locals and police identified the deceased as Amir Ahmed Dar, aged 25.
