Five flights cancelled at Srinagar airport amid disruptions

Srinagar: Air traffic at Srinagar International Airport remained disrupted today as five more flights were cancelled, causing inconvenience to passengers amid ongoing operational disturbances.
According to Kashmir Media Service, airport authorities confirmed that four IndiGo flights and one SpiceJet service scheduled for Thursday could not operate. The cancelled IndiGo flights included 6E-6165 bound for Amritsar, 6E-6761 and 6E-2449 to New Delhi, and 6E-6962 headed for Kolkata. SpiceJet’s SG-664 to New Delhi, scheduled for 12:55 hrs, was also grounded.
Officials said the cancellations are part of a broader pattern of disrupted flight operations in recent days. On Wednesday, six flight movements—five arrivals and five departures—were also cancelled by different airlines due to operational issues.
Passengers booked on the affected flights have been advised to contact their respective airlines for rebooking and further assistance. Airport authorities said they are coordinating with carriers to stabilise operations and resume normal schedules at the earliest.
