India slammed for fabricated narratives, warned against imposing ‘new normal’ along LoC

Islamabad: Political analysts have strongly condemned recent claims by Indian Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Upendra Dwivedi, describing them as fabricated narratives aimed at justifying aggression and coercing a “New Normal” along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the analysts while reacting to India’s so-called “22-minute strike” during “Operation Sindoor” termed it a complete fiction, with no evidence of derailing Pakistan’s decision-making or causing the casualties claimed by New Delhi. The analysts emphasized that civilian areas along the Line of Control are being deliberately labeled as “terrorist camps” to provide a pretext for future incursions and intimidation of local populations.

The observers highlighted that India’s proposed creation of a dedicated Rocket Force, merging Pinaka, Pralay, and BrahMos missile systems under a single command, reflects New Delhi’s sinister designs in the nuclear-armed region. “Such moves are dangerous and increase the risk of miscalculations that could spiral into a nuclear confrontation,” said an analyst.

They also condemned India’s attempt to blame Türkiye and Pakistan for misinformation, calling it hypocritical. “India itself amplified fake news during the May 2025 clashes to justify its aggression and malign Pakistan,” said another observer.

The analysts underscored that international reports, including the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission’s 2025 Annual Report, validate Pakistan’s military gains during the four-day conflict and highlight India’s reckless brinkmanship as a source of regional instability.

They stressed that there can be no “New Normal” imposed on Kashmir or the LoC through coercion or military intimidation. They warned that India’s aggressive posturing threatens peace in South Asia and reaffirmed the Kashmiri people’s right to resist occupation. “The people of Kashmir will continue to expose India’s lies and resist any attempt to impose a false narrative,” the analysts said.
