JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt booked under PSA in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian police booked Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Zahoor Ahmed Butt under the draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA), in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the senior JKLF leader Zahoor Ahmed Butt is a brother of prominent martyred Kashmiri leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt.
The 54-year-old, Zahoor Ahmed Butt, had been in custody since 2018 and was lodged in different jails of India, including Haryana and Rajasthan.
He was re-arrested by Indian police outside Srinagar central jail after a court ordered his release.
The Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara has once again booked him under black law, PSA, and lodged him into Udhampur jail in Jammu region.
