‘Kashmiris will not give up freedom struggle under any circumstances’

Doha: A Kashmiri delegation on a visit to Qatar, led by former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Rashid Turabi, visited the Pakistani Embassy and met with the Pakistani Ambassador, Lt General (Retd) Aamir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, besides other issues, Kashmir freedom movement, India’s state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the issuance of state domiciles to millions of non-Kashmiris after the revocation of the special status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019, the seizure of property, agricultural lands and residential houses of the Kashmiri people, changing the geographical composition of the state and converting it from a Muslim majority to a Hindu minority were also discussed in the meeting.

The Kashmiri delegation briefed the Pakistani ambassador about the ground situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and said that despite India’s atrocities, the Kashmiri people are not giving up their freedom struggle under any circumstances, which is a clear proof of India’s failure.

The delegates said one million Indian forces are imposed on the heads of the Kashmiri people, and serious human rights violations are continuing. In such a situation, Pakistani embassies and missions abroad should play an active and dynamic role and expose Indian atrocities, they added.

The ambassador was also briefed on the issues of the Pakistani community.

The business community leaders appreciated the excellent performance of the embassy under the leadership of the Pakistani ambassador.

The meeting was also attended by renowned Kashmiri leader Nazir Ahmed Qureshi.
