‘Indian govt committing worst kind of state terrorism in IIOJK’
Islamabad: The Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir, Ghazala Habib, has said that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government is committing the worst kind of state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ghazala Habib in a media interview in Islamabad said Kashmiris have been struggling to get rid of India’s occupation for the past 76 years and demanded of the United Nations to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
She said India is a so-called democracy where minorities are being mistreated and victimised by Hindu hardliners. She added that atrocities against religious minorities were continuing in India without any check and the international community had kept silent due to certain considerations.
Ghazala Habib said that India was systematically changing the demography of the occupied territory and demanded of the world community and United Nations to take notice of it besides resolving the Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
