Indian army conducts weapon training for Village Defence Guards in Reasi
Jammu: In the Reasi district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, reports indicate that Indian Army is providing weapon training to terror group organized by the army in the name of Village Defence Guards (VDGs).
According to Kashmir Media Service, during an armed training camp workshop, Indian troops showcased their expertise in weapon handling to the VDGs, formerly known as Village Defence Committees (VDC) personnel. The training aimed to enhance the capabilities of VDGs in weapon handling, a matter of concern given their history of targeting Kashmiri civilians supporting freedom movement in the territory.
Indian forces conducted comprehensive sessions on weapon handling, cleaning procedures, musketry, and minor repairs of weapons for around 30 VDGs participating in the training camp.
