Hindutva slogans on mosque walls spark communal tensions in Maharashtra
Mumbai: Hindutva slogans have been found scribed on the walls of a mosque in Maharashtra, sparking communal tensions in the state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident took place at the Markazi Masjid mosque in Majalgaon. The Muslim community has gathered outside the mosque to protest against these anti-Muslim actions.
Police in Maharashtra’s Beed district have initiated a case after unidentified individuals wrote Hindu slogans on the mosque wall. Sub-divisional police officer Dheeraj Kumar confirmed that the slogan “Shri Ram” was among those found on the wall.”
