APHC-AJK extends Eid greetings to oppressed Kashmiris, Palestinians, other Muslims
Islamabad:The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has extended greetings to the Muslim Ummah, especially the oppressed people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, on Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmad Sagar and other leaders including Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Imtiaz Wani in a joint statement in Islamabad while referring to the horrendous situations in IIOJK and Palestine maintained that that occupation forces were subjecting the people of the two regions to worst kind of brutalities.
They prayed for unity in the ranks of the Muslim Ummah and for autonomy as well as political and economic stability of Muslim countries. They condemned the bloodthirsty campaign unleashed by Modi led India on the people of IIOJK for waging a peaceful struggle for attaining their right to self-determination.
They lamented that the Kashmiri youth were being arrested every other day and lodged in far away jails of India, while a large number of Hurriyat leaders have been illegally detained in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
They appealed to the United Nations and the international community to support the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle and stop India from changing the Muslim-majority status of Jammu and Kashmir. Demanding the release of Kashmiri political prisoners, they urged the UN to play its role in this regard.
