A massive solidarity rally, organized by the youth of Magam, was underway when this report was filed.
Earlier on Monday, as news of Raisi’s death spread, Kashmiri Muslims gathered at the historic Ghanta Ghar in Srinagar and several other locations including Alamgiri Bazar and Magam in Budgam, holding candles and placards to express their condolences.
The tragic incident occurred on the border with Azerbaijan when the helicopter carrying President Raisi crashed.
