Rehmani pays tribute to Kashmiri freedom fighter Nazir Ahmad Shah
Islamabad: Senior APHC-AJK leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has paid rich tributes to the struggle and sacrifice of Kashmiri freedom fighter Nazir Ahmad Shah Shaheed who was martyred by Indian troops in custody in June 1994.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Shaheed Nazir Ahmad Shah was a leading freedom fighter during the 1980s and 1990s.
He added that Nazir Ahmad Shah led the struggle of freedom successfully till he was arrested by the occupation troops and murdered in custody on 15 June 1994.
In the meantime, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani also castigated the Modi-led Indian regime for its repression in IIOJK and demanded release of all political detainees including Hurriyet leaders.
