Indian troops arrest three including a couple in Doda
Srinagar: Indian forces’ personnel arrested three individuals, including a couple, in Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police authorities said that the arrests took place in Jai area of the district and they include a couple and a teenager.
They further claimed that the arrests were made in connection with the recent attacks in the district, which left five Indian troops and a special police officer injured on June 11. Another police officer was injured in a separate attack on June 12.
The police authorities claimed that the arrested persons were suspected of providing food to the attackers and failed to report their movements to the forces’ personnel.
However, it is widely believed that Indian authorities use such excuses to justify the arrests of the Kashmiris, with the actual aim of terrorizing the local population.
