Pasban-e-Hurriyat holds protest in Muzaffarabad against Modi’s visit to IIOJK
Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir held a massive protest demonstration outside Central Press Club in Muzaffarabad, against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the demonstration was led by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Hurriyat leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Usman Ali Hashim, Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Khalid Mehmood Zaidi and others.
A large number of citizens, including children and elderly people, participated in the protest demonstration. They carried black flags and banners with slogans against Modi’s visit to the territory and against the ongoing Indian atrocities on civilians.
The protesters raised loud slogans like “Modi, the murderer”, “the murderer of Kashmir”, “Kashmir is ours”, and “Go Modi, Go Back.”
The speakers addressing the protesters said Modi is the murderer of thousands of Kashmiris, adding people of the occupied territory have completely rejected Modi’s visit. They said despite all the Indian atrocities, the morale of Kashmiris is high and they will not accept anything less than freedom from India. They said the people of Azad Kashmir are standing side by side with their brothers in the occupied territory in resisting India.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement organized an Eid Milan party in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, in which the organization’s District Bagh leadership and leaders of refugees from occupied Jammu and Kashmir participated.
Vice Chairman of Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Qazi Imran was the chief guest of the event while Pir Panjal Freedom Movement District Chief Abdul Ghani Lone, Bagh District President Chaudhry Nazir Hussain, Mihajir Camp Ming Bajri Chief Chaudhry Mukhtar presided over the function.
Qazi Imran on the occasion said Kashmiris are making a lot of sacrifices for freedom from India and ‘our mission is only freedom from India.’
