Retired police personnel hold protest in Jammu over unpaid pensions

Jammu: Retired police personnel held a protest demonstration in Jammu, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in support of their demands, including payment of pensions. Led by Ajit Singh, Chairman of the Non-Gazetted Police Pensioners Welfare Forum, the protesters assembled at the city park and raised loud slogans, projecting their issues.

The protest brought to light the long-pending demands and grievances of the police community, exposing governance issues in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The protesters sought implementation of court orders regarding commuted pension recovery, timely clearance of pension papers, and resolution of delayed salaries of Special Police Officers (SPOs).

The protest highlighted unresolved issues faced by retired police personnel, raising questions about governance and administration of police welfare in the occupied territory. The demonstration ended with the dispersal of the crowd, but the concerns and grievances of the protesters remain unaddressed.
