Islamabad: A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter visited the house of Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen Chairman Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in Satra Meel, Islamabad, and informed him about the latest situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK delegation led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that India was continuously oppressing the Kashmiris, adding that even the Hurriyat leadership has been arrested.

The delegates told the Senator that India wanted to make the Kashmiri people leaderless. They said that India wanted to convert the Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a minority by settling non Kashmiris there for which it has issued domiciles of occupied Kashmir to lakhs of non-state residents.

The government of Pakistan and all political, social, religious organisations and people belonging to every school of thought are with the Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self-determination. He also said he will participate in the protest program of APHC on 15th August in Islamabad.

Besides Ghulam Mohammad Safi, the delegation included Mir Tahir Masood, Altaf Hussain Wani, Dawood Khan Yousafzai, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Ijaz Rahmani, Chaudhry Shaheen, Zahid Ashraf, Syed Gulshan and Abuzar Shawkat.
