Prominent businessman, philanthropist Kawoosa passes away in IIOJK
Srinagar: The Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned businessman and philanthropist, Khwaja Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the head of the Anjuman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar paid tribute to the late Kawoosa, acknowledging his significant contributions to society and the business community, particularly in Srinagar.
Kawoosa, a resident of Nowhatta and presently of Nishat, was remembered for his remarkable achievements and dedication to the community. His funeral prayers were held at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar, attended by Anjuman Auqaf officials and members. A collective Fateha ceremony was held at his residence, attended by prominent figures.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved sons of the deceased.
