BJP’s misdeeds in IIOJK force party to hide behind proxies, says Tarigami
Srinagar: In a scathing attack on India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, CPI-M leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami exposed the party’s desperation to cling to power by fielding proxy parties with similar backgrounds for sham elections in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tarigami, while campaigning in Kulgam, slammed the BJP for their numerous wrongdoings, which have made them incapable of justifying their actions. “The BJP knows they will face tough questions for the harm they’ve caused to the people of J&K, so they’re hiding behind proxy parties,” Tarigami said. “But the people won’t be fooled. They know that these proxy parties are just a new face for the same old BJP, with the same harmful agenda.”
Tarigami warned the people to be vigilant, using a metaphor to drive home the point. “A new eagle has emerged, but it’s just as dangerous as the old one. It’s already snatching away our youth’s future, and we must protect them.” “This government has nothing to offer except FIRs and empty promises,” he added.
