Indian army para commando killed, 5 injured in Rajouri road accident
Jammu: An Indian army paratrooper was killed and five commandos injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army Para Commando Lance Naik Baljeet Singh died, while five others were injured, in the accident that occurred in the Mankote area of the district late evening.
The commandos were on counterinsurgency duty when the accident happened.
Officials reported that the Indian army vehicle suffered extensive damage, and the condition of another army personnel remains critical.
