APHC, other Hurriyat leaders condemn priest Yati Narsinghanand for his sacrilegious remarks
Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and other Hurriyat leaders and organisations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have condemned the Hindutva priest Yati Narsinghanand for his sacrilegious remarks against Prophet Muhammad (PBUP).
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar urged both the Kashmiri people and religious scholars to take to the streets after Friday prayers to vocally oppose the priest’s heinous comments.
APHC leaders, including Agha Syed Hassan Al-Mosvi, Farida Behanji, Zamruda Habib, Muhammad Haseeb Wani, Khawaja Firdous, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Junaidussalam, Fayaz Hussain Jafari, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qumi, Ghulam Nabi War, Advocate Devender Singh and Muhammad Umar in their statements issued in IIOJK condemned the ongoing pattern of religious hatred propagated by Hindu extremists in India. He specifically denounced recent comments made by Yati Narsinghanand, asserting that such actions warrant the strongest condemnation. He emphasized that due to the actions of Hindu extremists under the patronage of the BJP, no minority community in India feels secure. He highlighted that these Hindutva leaders and activists consistently attack the faiths of Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians. Advocate Devender Singh called for the immediate arrest and punishment of Narsinghanand. He expressed his full support for the APHC’s call for peaceful protests against blasphemy.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has announced complete support to the Hurriyat Conference call in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for protest demonstrations after Friday prayers against the blasphemous remarks by Hindutva priest Yati Narsinghanand.
The APHC-AJK Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Parvez Shah and Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, as well as senior leaders Muhammad Farooq Rahmani and Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Faiz Naqshbandi, Shameem Shawl, Muhammad Sultan Butt and Altaf Ahmed Butt in their statements in Islamabad said that the Muslims would never tolerate derogatory remarks against Prophet of Islam Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran..
The APHC-AJK leaders, demanding exemplary punishment for priest Yati Narsinghanand, appealed to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir to make the APHC protest a complete success.
