Karachi: The delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi met Allama Syed Shahshanshah Hussain Naqvi, leader of Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen, at his residence in Karachi, in which a detailed discussion was held on the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in the meeting, the delegates informed Allama Naqvi about India’s brutal policies and human rights violations in the occupied territory.

During the meeting, Allama Naqvi announced his full support for the Black Day to be observed on October 27 and assured that he would fully support and participate in the protest demonstrations.

He said this day is a day to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and send a message to India that Kashmiris are not alone and cannot allow India to make Kashmir another Gaza.

He further said the government and the people of Pakistan stand by the fundamental right of Kashmiris and the right to self-determination and will continue to support the Kashmiri people by all possible means against the oppressive policies of India.

Allama Naqvi said, “We are the voice of every oppressed while the Kashmiri Muslims are our brothers and a part of the body for whom the people of Pakistan stand side by side.”

The APHC-AJK delegation also met United Kashmir Welfare Alliance Karachi and discussed the ongoing human rights situation prevalent in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and ongoing suppression by Indian occupation forces.

The visiting Hurriyat delegation highlighted the ongoing killings, forced disappearances and human rights violations of Kashmiris by the Indian troops in the occupied territory and strongly condemned the atrocities inflicted on innocent Kashmiris.

Ghulam Mohammad Safi emphasized on highlighting the long-standing dispute of Kashmir at the global level, saying that India is committing serious violations of human rights in Kashmir, which cannot be ignored anymore and will be raised on international forums.

Safi highlighted the difficulties faced by the people of IIOJK, saying that the voice should be raised for the rights of Kashmiris not only in Azad Jammu and Kashmir but in the whole world.

Chairman of United Kashmir Welfare Alliance, Sardar Zulfiqar, President Sudhanuti Welfare Association, Sardar Farooq Mahmood, President Rajput Association Raja Zaheer, President Al-Awan Organization Azhar Awan, President Namnota Welfare Sardar Karim Khan, Vice President Minto Welfare Trust Sardar Mubasher Hussain and others were also present where part of the delegation met APHC-AJK leaders.

They emphasized that it is the need of the hour to defeat the ideology of Hindutva and to achieve this goal, all the sections have to make united efforts. They also condemned the Indian move of August 5, 2019. They termed this move as an attack on the rights of Kashmiri people and it is a violation of international law.
