Thousands gather for 50th urs of sufi saint in Jammu
Jammu: Thousands of devotees from diverse religious communities gathered in Trimili Sharif, near Kotranka in Rajouri district, to celebrate the 50th Urs of revered Sufi saint Baji Mian Ghulam Nabi Naqshbandi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event, marked by spiritual devotion and unity, included participation from Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians. Renowned Islamic scholar Abdul Rashid Dawoodi emphasized the saint’s teachings of brotherhood and humanity.
The shrine of Baji Mian, a symbol of communal harmony, remains a spiritual hub, attracting visitors seeking solace and inspiration. Despite the remote and underdeveloped location, extensive security measures ensured a peaceful celebration.
