Promises made to IIOJK people should be fulfilled: Omar Abdullah
Srinagar: Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah, reiterating his demand for restoration of statehood of the territory, said that the promises made to the people should be fulfilled.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah talking to journalists in Srinagar said, “We have to ensure restoration of statehood of Jammu and Kashmir. He said the Indian Prime Minister and the Home Minister have promised to restore statehood, which they should fulfill without any further delay.
Omar Abdullah said systematic attempts are being made to target mosques in India, which is unacceptable. He added that the Constitution guarantees the right to live freely to everyone regardless of which religion he belongs to, this fundamental principle of secularism should be maintained.
