Property of another Kashmiri seized in IIOJK
Srinagar: The New Delhi-appointed administration in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), led by the Lieutenant Governor, has seized yet another property in Islamabad district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA), supported by the Central Reserve Police Force and police, confiscated 19 marlas of land owned by Muhammad Akbar Dar in the Halpora area of Kokernag.
Since the abrogation of IIOJK’s special status in August 2019, the Modi government has intensified its campaign to dispossess Kashmiris of their homes and lands. This strategy aims to economically weaken the local population while facilitating the transfer of confiscated properties to non-Kashmiri Hindus, systematically altering the territory’s demographic balance to advance the Hindutva agenda.
